Playing the bass has become a part of my lifestyle. I actually look forward to playing each time we play, whether there are two people, or 200 people.  I make sure I am playing even between gigs, because while the 5 string (Tobias limited edition) is currently my instrument of choice, the Fender Jazz (4 string ) takes me back to my roots, and the 6  and 7 string basses give me a few more options for melody, when I am writing.

Ronnie "Coach" Parker

Coach Parker became a self-taught bassist, after graduating from college. His tremendous ear, combined with a solid sense of harmony, rhythm and melody has made him an invaluable resource at recording sessions as well as live performances .

He continues to be a student of music and has played and done session work in rock, jazz, funk, gospel and even classical music.

The Coach moniker is certainly one he earned as a result of  his successes in the coaching profession, but Ronnie stays true to that role within the Who Dat? Blues Band mix, serving as the band's musical director and business manager.

Additionally, Coach has established himself as  a "first call" bass man when musicians and bandleaders of various genres need a solid bottom or a melodic bass voice, whether that's for studio work, a local gig, a regional swing or an international tour.
