The original band was started in 1999. In the fall of 2005 new lead singer Gwinyai Mumbiro was added to the current lineup.
All the band members grew up exposed to a variety of music, but blues had a tremendous influence on the musical preferences of each band member.
Brian, Herman, and Ronnie meet while undergrads attending college. After former lead singer Ben Hall departed from the band after the summer 2005 season, new lead singer Gwinyai Mumbiro was added to the lineup.
Who Dat? Blues Band's last CD "The I V IV Project is currently out of production but the band hopes to put out a new CD in 2007.

Ronnie is a long time coach in both football and wrestling. He currently coaches football at Albion College, and was a part of the staff that coached the "Brits" to a National Championship in 1994. Also having coached several high school state champs in wrestling,
That is absolutely correct. Brian is a Master Instructor of Tae Kwon Do. As a six-degree Black Belt and owner of Anderson Institute headquartered in Hillsdale Michigan, "BA" has been involved in Martial Arts for over 30 years, participating in tournaments and exhibitions nationally and internationally.

Along with a mix of original tunes, you can hear the band play a variety of covers by Robert Johnson, B.B. King, KoKo Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ida Cox, Willie Dixon, Junior Wells and Aaron "T-Bone" Walker, just to name a few.

I heard you guys use the BOSE(R) stick for your sound system?
Actually it is called the BOSE L1TM System ; and yes we do use three of the systems to produce our sound.
